1. School Profile
Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) is one of the State University in Philippines.
DMMMSU
was created through Presidential Decree 1778 on January 15, 1981 by Former
President Ferdinand E. Marcos. DMMMSU was born from the merging of 5 former
schools of La Union namely:
- Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State College at Bacnotan, La Union
- La Union School of Arts and Trade at City of San Fernando, La Union
- Community College of La Union at City of San Fernando, La Union
- Southern Ilocos Polytechnic State College at Agoo, La Union, and
- Sapilang Elementary School at Bacnotan, La Union.
DMMMSU
has 109 academic programs into doctorate degree programs (13), master's degree
programs (31), bacalaureate degree programs (58), and diploma/certificate
programs (7).

3. Academic Support System
DMMMSU has many facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process. Which is Campus Zoning and Land Use Planning, Enrolment Trend and Program Expansions, Environmental Protection and Management, Disaster Resilience and Risk Management, Campus Safety and Security, Energy Utilization Efficiency, Transportation and General Mobility, Conduciveness for Wellness, Sports, and Recreation, ICT Infrastructure and also have Provision for PWDs.
